For publishers
These terms apply to every publisher working with advertisers through BlogMatch. They describe our standard arrangements. For publishers: whatever you stated in the intake form takes precedence over these standards — that information is the basis of your cooperation.

- These terms apply to every cooperation between BlogMatch and you as a publisher.
- By accepting these terms when you sign up, you declare that you accept all provisions.
- Deviating arrangements only apply if BlogMatch has confirmed them in writing (email is sufficient). What you stated in the intake form counts as a deviating arrangement confirmed in writing.
- If any part of these terms proves to be void, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
- BlogMatch reserves the right to amend these terms. In case of substantive changes you will be informed by email (at the address known to us) at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
- Do you disagree with a change? Then you may end the cooperation free of charge within those 30 days. Placements already live remain under the terms applicable at that time.
- BlogMatch acts as an intermediary between advertisers and publishers. BlogMatch does not own websites itself and has no editorial control over supplied content.
- The cooperation is entered into between you (the publisher) and BlogMatch. BlogMatch invoices the advertiser and pays out your fee in accordance with Article 15.
- When signing up you complete the intake form fully and truthfully. Incorrect or misleading information may lead to termination of the cooperation.
- You declare that you are authorised to enter into cooperation on behalf of the website(s) you register.
- You are responsible for keeping your details up to date (rates, conditions, contact details, payment details) through your personal management link or by email to samenwerkingen@blogmatch.nl.
These standards apply unless you stated otherwise in the intake form or unless something else was agreed in writing.
- Articles placed through BlogMatch stay online permanently. That means: at least 24 months, continuously findable and indexable for search engines.
- Do you want to apply a shorter duration (for example a temporary placement or a yearly contract)? State that in the intake form or by email before accepting an assignment.
- Is an article removed, changed or no longer indexable within the agreed duration? Then you restore the placement within 14 days, or replace it with an equivalent placement on the same site, at no extra cost to the advertiser.
- Links within placed articles are dofollow by default, unless stated otherwise in the intake form.
- Nofollow or sponsored attributes are only applied when this has been explicitly agreed with the advertiser or is required by law.
- Articles are placed as regular content and by default carry no advertorial, sponsored or equivalent commercial marking.
- Does the law require such a marking in your specific situation (for example for gambling content)? Report this to BlogMatch in advance, so the arrangements can be adjusted.
- Supplied articles, or articles you write yourself, count at least 500 words unless agreed otherwise.
- Articles are written in readable, natural prose with a correct heading structure (H1, H2, H3).
- Content generated entirely by AI without human editorial review is not permitted.
- Articles are fully indexable by search engines (Google, Bing) and are not placed behind a login or paywall.
- Commercial links are included naturally in the article, preferably within the first half.
- Anchor texts are placed as supplied by the advertiser, without changes unless this is necessary for grammatical correctness (in which case we discuss it beforehand).
- With several commercial links within one article: at least in separate paragraphs, spread naturally.
- After the assignment is agreed, the article is placed within the delivery time you stated (default: 3-5 working days).
- If you are delayed beyond the agreed delivery time, you inform BlogMatch in good time, at the latest before the deadline passes.
- After placement, BlogMatch receives the live URL of the placement within 24 hours.
- Reasonable change requests (adjusting an anchor, updating a link, small textual corrections) are carried out by you for 24 months after the original placement date.
- No extra costs are charged for these change requests.
- Changes are made within 7 working days of the request, unless agreed otherwise.
- As the publisher you are responsible for the final content of the placed article, also for texts supplied by the advertiser. Editorial review (spelling, facts, legal compliance) is yours.
- You ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including the Dutch Media Act, the Advertising Code and (where relevant) sector-specific rules of the Netherlands Gambling Authority, NVWA or AFM.
- Do you doubt whether a supplied article is legally permissible? Contact BlogMatch before publication.
- Supplied images: responsibility for images supplied by the advertiser lies entirely with the advertiser. The advertiser must check whether the images used are royalty-free or whether they hold the necessary usage rights. Any fines, claims or demands from third parties (for example copyright holders, photographers or image banks) arising from the use of supplied images are passed on by BlogMatch directly to the advertiser. Publisher and BlogMatch are not liable for these.
- The applicable rate per placement is the rate you stated in the intake form at the moment of the assignment.
- You change your prices yourself through your personal management link; changes apply only to assignments entered into after the change. Assignments already accepted are carried out at the rate that applied at the moment of acceptance.
- All rates are excluding VAT.
- After placement and approval you send an invoice (or, by arrangement, BlogMatch does so through self-billing) to samenwerkingen@blogmatch.nl, stating the assignment number.
- BlogMatch pays the invoice within 30 days of receipt, provided the placement matches the agreed specifications.
- Payment goes to the IBAN stated on your invoice. Changes to payment details are made by email, confirmed from the registered publisher address.
- If an invoice is disputed, BlogMatch informs you within 7 working days of receipt.
- You do not approach advertisers who place with you through BlogMatch for future placement arrangements outside BlogMatch. This applies for 12 months after the last cooperation with that specific advertiser concluded through BlogMatch.
- Do you receive a direct request from an advertiser you have worked with through BlogMatch before? Refer them to BlogMatch.
- This article does not apply to advertisers with whom you demonstrably already had an existing relationship independent of BlogMatch before the first cooperation through BlogMatch.
- Price and condition information of other publishers, advertiser details and internal BlogMatch communication are confidential. You do not share these with third parties.
- This obligation continues to apply after the cooperation ends.
- For placements in sensitive niches (gambling/casino, crypto, CBD, adult) additional rules from regulators apply. You decide in the intake form whether, and at what rate, you accept these niches.
- For placements in these niches you are responsible for complying with the applicable advertising rules (for example mandatory disclosure for gambling content).
- BlogMatch reserves the right to check requests in sensitive niches in advance, or to refuse them if the legal basis is insufficiently certain.
- BlogMatch is never liable for indirect damage (lost income, reputational damage, missed opportunities) arising from a cooperation.
- Direct damage caused by BlogMatch is limited to at most the amount of the intermediary fee for the placement concerned.
- You indemnify BlogMatch against claims from third parties (advertisers, authorities, other parties) arising from content that passed your editorial review.
- BlogMatch indemnifies you against claims that clearly arise from content supplied by BlogMatch on behalf of an advertiser, where you as a reasonably acting publisher could not have known that it was problematic.
- Both you and BlogMatch may end the cooperation at any time, by email to samenwerkingen@blogmatch.nl.
- Ending the cooperation has no effect on articles already placed: they stay online under the terms applicable at placement (Article 6) and under the obligation to make changes (Article 12).
- If a connected website is sold, transferred or discontinued, you inform BlogMatch at least 30 days in advance so that live placements can be handed over carefully.
- These terms and all cooperation arising from them are governed exclusively by Dutch law.
- Disputes are preferably resolved between us personally. If that does not work, they are submitted to the competent court in 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands.
